COLUMBIA, MD -- 6/21/08 -- -- Eddie Akeem Johnson, goes by Ak. He's 40, lives in Pikesville, MD and is an HVAC mechanic. About his tattoo he says, "My father passed away and he always used to say, 'My son, my son' when he called me. It always gave me such warm feeling when he said it. I have two sons, and I was going thru something when he passed away. So the design started with that. I’m a Sagittarius and if you follow the arrow there’s a circular turbulent piece that reflects my emotions. Sagittarians are emotional people. I also like the Polynesian design but I didn’t want to disrespect the tribes without being part of their belief system so I extracted the religious images out of the design."
