BALTIMORE, MD -- 9/11/14 -- Raylen Bethea, 11, a 6th grader at Patterson Park Public Charter waves a flag. Today Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley oversaw 500 uniformed men and women of the Maryland National Guard as they left on a six-mile march along the Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail. 200 years ago the Maryland Militia marched this route to defend Baltimore and the nation from the British invasion.…by André Chung #AC1_2145
