PORT-AU-PRINCE, -- 1/20/10 -- Spec. Patrick Hydorn or the 82nd Airborne Charlie Company 1-325, stops a man from entering as he sends his father into the hospital for treatment to his injured leg. He let the man join his father after a moment....General Hospital in Port-Au-Prince has roughly 1500 patients, but the number fluctuates up as high as 1800 as more patients are admitted, treated and released. A mostly volunteer staff of 35 - 40 treat the patients. There have been 150 amputations so far....A magnitude 7.0 earthquake rips through Port-Au-Prince, killing over 100,000 and destroying most buildings....
