PORT-AU-PRINCE, -- 1/22/10 -- Fritz LaFontant, 52, a Haitian volunteer at the clinic, has lived for some time in Washington DC, but was in Haiti during the earthquake. He volunteers through Life Ministries, and lost his own house during the quake....At Killick, the Haitian Coast Guard base, a triage clinic has been set up and run by a combined US military task force. They treat minor injuries, but medivac the more serious cases to the USS Comfort....A magnitude 7.0 earthquake rips through Port-Au-Prince, killing over 100,000 and destroying most buildings....
