Mustock

LIGNUM, VA -- 7/23/16 -- Michael Gibbs (center), of Ashburn, points out a big pot of curry chicken that he was preparing for anyone who wanted it. Although this was his first Mustock, he has been to other events Mustafa has hosted, and finally made time to come out for the music.Mustock is a private music festival hosted by DC based musician, Mustafa Akbar. Now in it's 17th year, the event started as a fish-fry with Mustafa's mother when she was still living. Originally open to family and close friends, the event has grown steadily, and drew roughly 300 people over the weekend.…by André Chung #_AC22891
