WASHINGTON, DC -- 9/23/20 -- Cara Gilbert, 40, of Washington DC: “I’m here today to pay respects to Ruth Bader Ginsburg because she was a fierce advocate for women’s rights; she was a fierce advocate for all citizens regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity and she was someone who paved the way for working women in an era when men generally dominated. There are many issues but overall equality and reproductive rights [are most concerned with].”
With the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on September 18, the court has lost its leading progressive voice.
