WASHINGTON, DC -- 8/22/11 -- Reporters from around the world attended the media preview, which took place immediately before the public opening....Soft opening for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial on the National Mall. The memorial consists of a 30 foot granite sculpture of Dr. King, and a 450 foot long granite wall engraved with more than a dozen quotes from his speeches and sermons in a landscaped area along the Tidal Basin.....by André Chung #AC2_1970
